The orchid fertilizer is very easy to use. Instructions are clearly printed on the spray bottle and the concentrated dispenser bottle. Basically, just add 3 drops to 8 oz of water and spray the leaves and aerial roots! And since you're only using 3 drops of the fertilizer and diluting it in water, it should last quite a while. The spray bottle works fairly well when used upright, but if you're repositioning the bottle to spray a specific part of the plant or a hidden area of the plant and happen to hold it sideways (horizontally) or slightly upside down, then it has a difficult time spraying. We haven't used it long enough to notice a real big difference, but the plants that we've used it on so far seem to be doing well. Also, I had no idea you can use this orchid fertilizer for other plants! This is what AI told me:"Yes, you absolutely can use The Green Alcove Orchid Fertilizer Enriched with Seaweed Extract on other plants besides orchids. In fact, its specific formulation makes it a highly beneficial supplement for a wide variety of indoor houseplants and flowering outdoor flora. Why It Works Well for Other Plants• Gentle, Weak Dose: Orchid fertilizers are purposefully mixed to be mild ("weakly, weekly") because orchid roots burn very easily. This means it is incredibly safe for standard houseplant roots and rarely causes the chemical root burn that aggressive, standard-strength fertilizers can.• The Magic of Seaweed Extract: The Ascophyllum nodosum kelp extract in the formula delivers natural hormones (like auxins and cytokinins), amino acids, and trace micronutrients. This heavily stimulates root growth, strengthens cell walls, and reduces overall plant stress in all species.Plants That Benefit the Most• Aroids & Vines: Monstera, Pothos, Philodendrons, and Ivy thrive on this blend.• Epiphytes: Air plants (Tillandsia), Hoyas, and Christmas Cacti absorb it easily through their leaves as a foliar spray mist.• Delicate Indoor Bloomers: African Violets and Peace Lilies love the mild, phosphorus-supportive orchid blend."So after I discovered that, I've been spraying our other plants like peace lily, monstera, and Pothos, and they seem to be happy, too. Love that this product can be used on multiple plants and not just orchids.
