Directions

1. Hold the main button for 3 seconds to turn the meter on.
2. Insert the probes two-thirds of the way into the pot, or about 4 inches deep.
3. Wait about 7 seconds for the screen to stop flashing, then read all six values.
4. Compare the numbers to your plant's ideal ranges in the included guide.
5. Wipe the probes clean after each use. Soil only, never dip them in water or any other liquid.

Tip: check pH in moist soil. Dry soil gives inaccurate readings.

No. Recharges with the included cable; about 12 hours of screen-on time, auto shut-off after 5 minutes, so a charge lasts months of normal check-ins.
Can I test water or liquids?

No, soil only. Never dip the probes in any liquid: water, vinegar, fertilizer solution, anything. Liquids damage them.
Will it work for my specific plant?

The readings span the full range houseplants live in to full-sun herbs. And because we provide actual measurements not vaguely named ranges like "low" or "high", you can easily look up the ideal range for your plant.
