Orchid Fertilizer Sticks

This year my orchids have been amazing despite my neglect.

They've started blooming in Feb, now it's July, and one plant still has one flower stalk.

I don't know how to take care of orchids and I just let them do their thing.

This fertilizer looked easy enough. I removed the cap (too late I read I should have actually cut it) and placed the little bottle in the soil. Two pots have already drunk it all (in one day), the other is half way through.

I will tell later if I see any exceptional growth or ill effect.

The liquid inside has some sediment like dirt around the pink water.

These orchid fertilizer spikes come in a bundle of eight. They are very easy to use. You just cut the tip off and stick the cut end in the soil. You can tell it's working when air bubbles start rising to the top. It just comes out a very little bit at a time. I have been using them in three of my orchids for about a week. I can tell they are working, because one has a fairly large new leaf, one has a tiny new leaf forming at the base, and one has a very vigorous-looking new root forming. I like that the color coordinates with the color of the flowers on my orchids. I think these are a great value considering how easy they are to use, and how well they work. I will definitely get these again.

This could not be easier to use.

We tested this out with two of our many orchids, then waited to make certain they did not have a bad reaction.

Both appear happy and healthy, so we can report this is compatible with the Phalaenopsis varieties.

To deliver this fertilizer to an orchid, you simply snip the tip, then invert the plastic tube into your plant's container.

It then slowly empties itself out and you return only to dispose of the product.

I would consider this a good choice for perking up old, tired soil, as well as for encouraging blooming or trying to help an ailing plant.

With a room full of orchids, this has been a perfect fit for our plants.

This liquid fertilizer is a no brainer. Clip the tip and insert into the soil. The orchids get micro doses of nutrients instead of being bombarded with regular plant foods. My orchids are very green and new leaves are growing. No flowers yet but I am hoping in the next few months to see some blooms.

I was given an orchid a few years ago and it seems to thrive but it only grows new leaves and long roots out the bottom but no flowers since the initial flowers it had in the beginning. I was hoping this fertilizer would help it grow some flowers and only time will tell. The fertilizer is very easy to use. Just snip the tip and stick it in the dirt. The fertilizer is obviously helping as a new leaf (I think its a leaf) is coming up after just 3 weeks. The first fertilizer tube is now empty so I'm about to give it a second tube. I'll update the review at a later date to reveal if I get some flowers or if I do not. I'm hoping to get some lovely orchids!!

UPDATE: I have changed my review to 5 stars as my Orchid now has flowers!! It did take quite a while and four tubes of the food but this product does work exactly as it claims!!!

I tried changing out the orchid mix and trimming roots, the tea bath and using the miracle grow sticks. Nothing was working until I tried these. They not only brought the orchids back to life but they are dark green leafed now. It's a miracle. It took a whole bottle for 2 months to drop for this to happen so give it time.

Arrived quickly and packaged with portion controlled bottles. This could not be easier. I’m a plant person with a very green thumb orchids are my nemesis! Hoping this will help me learn to grow these temperamental plants!! Great value and just put it in the pot and it does the work! Highly recommend!

Works as intended

This helped my dead looking orchid to grow and actually grow a whole new branch and bloom again. All my three orchids are in full bloom thanks to this fertilizer.

Works wonders for orchids. Mine rebloomed after 3 weeks.

My orchid is actually growing a spike. I have not bloomed, but this is a second stem after the winter. I am praying for buds, but bo there yet.

Happy with product

I followed directions, but couldn’t get the bottle to drip. I squeezed the fertilizer daily, but saw no improvement over my traditional fertilizer.

My orchids definitely like these. I tried several other brands but this one's only worked well on my orchids.

This fertilizer works great. All the flowers fell off my orchid and I cut it back and used this fertilizer and it bean to grow immediately. 1 month later and I have 5 blooms almost ready to open.

So, Im. Not a great plant person, but im trying.I have orchids that were a gift for me for my office. I have tried everything that lead to over watering and underwater ingredients and just sad and sick orchids. I read a lot about orchids and tried my best to follow and practice recommendations including ice cubes, changing the pot, etc.Finally, I was on Amazon and saw this. This was my last shot.I have been using this for about 6 weeks. The leaves are healthy, th stem is strong, and there are new buds growing and appear like they may bloom in the coming weeks! It works beautifully and is so easy to use, hassle free. Pop off the cap, place it, and that's it. I cannot wait to see the beautiful purple blooms soon!

I got an orchid from my mother - it was not potted correctly and was in bad shape. The flowers died, it was slow to grow new leaves.Long story short, after finding a good orchid pot, I purchased and used these liquid orchid fertilizer spikes. New leaves come in more regularly, the plant is healthy, lots of new roots, and just this week (drum roll) witnessed a new flower stem doing its thing! Victory! I'm so happy with it that I just purchased a second box. This is a great product that works as advertised. Highly recommend.
